Kari Duong-Topp Easter thoughts

I just had to share this... what a great meditation for the day. "Easter isn't a was: Easter is. Resurrection happens. True, many of God's Easter miracles are not as dramatic as Jack's. But many are. We should not underestimate our loving God's ability to save-nor should we account anyone irredeemably lost. Not Jack. Not yourself. Not anyone-for Easter is today." It is from today's reading in Forward Movement. http://www.forwardmovement.org/todaysreading.cfm Continue

Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota Thoughts on Mission, from the Rev. Marlene Jacobs

It could best be described as the central square. The Plaza de Armas featured a large open area and park in the middle, about the size of a city block. Located on one side was the “plac… Continue

Doug Maust Task Two Congregations in Context Starts in Cyberspace

This medium is new to me. Computers and email are not Congregational development is new to me and at the same time it is not. I am a member of Nativity and we are a long running experiment. Then again, maybe that is what we all are. There are tasks laid out before a committee that has a number of members and needs to engage many more. We know that we want to communicate with all congregations and we know that the context we find ourselves in is as diverse as our geography and demographic. It… Continue
