Church of the Advent, Farmington, is an active church with a strong focus on outreach ministry. Currently the parish is involved with the following projects and activities: nursing home visitations, the mitton tree, supplying car seats for the Community Action Council, providing meals for the Hispanic community near Montgomery, and support work with the National Guard, U.S. Army, and Iraq veterans.
All of this work is brought to the prayer life and the worship services at Church of the Advent each week.
We will also be using the Gospel Based Discipleship form of study in the near future at the parish.
